Middle School Years 7-9
Curriculum
The role of the Middle School is to bridge the gap between the structured learning of Primary and the self-directed learning of the Senior School.
Student attend core curriculum lessons with their homegroup peers but are separated for the practical subjects. This helps them to build relationships across the cohort. Staff in the middle school teach across a number of subject areas, allowing them to build the effective relationships with students which are vital during the adolescent years. Teaching methods during middle school focus on creating self-directed learners who have the ability to make and maintain mature relationships with their peers and adults in the school and wider community.
